Young Adult English Ministry 1Cor 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. |
Mark 4:6 And when the sun rose, it was scorched; and since it had no root, it withered away Who? What? Why? We are Rooted On the Community of Christ. We are Rooting Our Community in Christ. We Root Our Community for Christ. Psa 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. |

Jer 17:8 They shall be like a tree
planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It
shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay
green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it
does not cease to bear fruit. Our vision is to become the light and salt of the world by living as visible disciples of Christ both inside and outside of the church. In order to achieve this goal, the group focuses on the following:
|
| Eph 3:17 and that Christ may dwell
in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and
grounded in love. Our group exists to provide single young adult Christians a place to meet and have fellowship with one another. We provide a forum with a community environment where we build upon the solid foundation of Christ and help each other in our growing relationship with God. We also strive to be good stewards for the local community. For those people who do not know Christ, we will teach them about God and Jesus Christ, and show them how they can establish a personal relationship with Him. The identity of the group emphasizes nurturing real relationships with God and each other. We promote the learning of His Word through Bible studies, prayer groups and retreats. We use praise, worship, discipleship programs and accountability partners to create a stronger relationship with God. By meeting often, we establish strong bonds with one another. We have times of fellowship as well where we can meet, support each other in times of need, and share in the good and bad times in all aspects of our lives. Through these friendships, we will strengthen our relationship with God as we keep each others spirits up. |

Matt 7:25 The rain fell, the floods
came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it
did not fall, because it had been founded on rock. Special fellowship activities we have as a body of Christ in addition to our weekly schedule include:
|
| Luk 10:27 He answered, "You
shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and
with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with
all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."
